We arrived in Atlanta the day before the first open rehearsal and student
program. The concert was Saturday and it was amazing! Madalyn received three
curtain calls and played the Bach Loure from Partita in E as an encore,
followed by flowers and two more curtain calls! The Georgia Philharmonic is
full of devoted music lovers and amazing players! Maestro Philip Rice conducted
a beautiful program with Madalyn’s concerto as the finale. At the beautiful reception catered with delicacies many friends were made and autographs penned. And Cicely sold 26 CDs! |
